My collaged works on paper link the ocular with the haptic. Constructed from a variety of hand-made sources such monoprints and embossings from deconstructed installations, the surfaces are dense and rich, uniting metaphoric narratives between the micro and macro natural world; between the abstraction of gestural marks and the man-made system of maps. My interest is structuring an emotional space locating the explosive force fields within the confines of the rectangle.
