Easton, Pennsylvania, 2025, Installed in the lobby of Lafayette College’s performance center is Weisberg’s 14 foot long installation around which is embedded Paula Gil Higa’s prize-winning dance video, The Migrant Body. Weisberg blends her visceral homage to the unstoppable growth of living forms with Higa’s quiet meditation on the transitory invisibility of the immigrant experience. Weisberg’s mycelium structure is made using Fosshape a fabric that hardens with heat and paper coated wire.
